Why do I bowhunt ;

- I’ve always been an outdoors person with fishing, camping and rifle hunting taking up much of my spare time when I was younger. I got my first bow for free when I was in year 9 after I won a bet with another kid who reckoned I couldn’t pull it back. A few months after that I was hunting foxes and rabbits on a local Canberra property that my dad worked on and since then bowhunting has accounted for many hours of my spare time. I enjoy the mate ship of sharing a beer around a campfire, the country bowhunting has taken me to and the feeling you get when a hard hunt or stalk ends in success.

The WCC  to me ;

- The WCC has expanded the enjoyment I get from bowhunting by bringing together a bunch of guys that love everything bowhunting but also a great mate ship. There are many things to love about the WCC whether it be enjoying any hunt, the excitement of Fallow camp each year in the rut, the phone calls planning future trips & my favorite - the car trips to and from hunts with constant ribbing of each other and many hours of laughter.
