Why do I bowhunt ;

- Because I have to. It's ingrained in me. I need to be in the bush away from the crowds, totally imersed in nature. I feel that hunting, fishing, gathering are fundamental to the animal we are - human. I feel alive and whole when I am wandering the hills.

- Because bowhunting is all about being close, being patient, being accurate, being respectful.

- To give the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors to those who havn't yet been as fortunate as me.

- To show those who do not understand hunting that we care for the animals and the outdoors as much as anyone. Hunters are some of the most active conservationists out there!

The WCC to me ;

- Is a massive part of my hunting, these guys are a part of all the high's and low's that come with the sport. At the end of the day if you cannot share all the experiences of your time in the field with mates then it was all for naught. I hope as a group we can help strengthen bowhunting in this country and pass on much of what we are learning to others so they can share in this awesome passion of ours.
